A-M GALLERY

Maria Aguilera-Mendoza is the founding director of A-M Gallery in Newtown, Sydney, Australia from 2011 to 2015, curating over 40 exhibitions. A-M Gallery also participated in the Sydney Contemporary Art Fair in 2015.

The gallery was established to help artists and the local community engage with a wide range of artistic practices, and its location at the front of Maria’s home meant a complete immersion and blurring of home life and art, that led to a very different experience of life as a practicing artist.
